Philip Wanjohi is currently the Head of Administration, Business Development &
Partnerships at the African Conservation Tillage Network (ACT), Nairobi, Kenya. In this
role, he supports the network finance management, project grant management,
administration, business development and strategic partnerships. He has over fifteen
years international experience in managing multi-donor, multi-partner, multi-country
funding as well as expertise in managing the fiduciary and reporting requirements of
development partners. In his business development and partnership role, he has been a
key contributor to the development and roll out of multi-stakeholder platforms including
the Africa Congress on Conservation Agriculture and the virtual Sustainable Agricultural
Mechanization AfricaMechanize Platform www.africamechanize.org being used for
knowledge and information sharing, partnership and networking of SAM stakeholders in
Africa. In the past, Philip has been engaged in advisory and management consulting for
World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), World Council of credit Unions (WOCCU), Kenya
Business Development Services program (Kenya BDS) and in the manufacturing industry.
He is a finance business partner and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied
Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (UK).
