Eng. Edwin Zimunga

Eng. Edwin Zimunga is the Chief Director responsible for Agricultural Engineering, Mechanisation and Soil Conservation in the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development (MLAFWRD) in Zimbabwe. He oversees the formulation, implementation and review of technologies, strategies, programmes, policies, guidelines and regulations on agricultural engineering, mechanisation, soil and water conservation in line with national development goals and priorities. Prior to joining government, Edwin worked in various sectors at various management levels in the tobacco industry, sugarcane-bioethanol industry, mineral processing, renewable energy, technology advisory and innovation as well as R&D.
