Dr. Abdul Rahman Kamara , is the Director of Agricultural Engineering Division (AED), Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Sierra Leone . He is involved in providing leadership towards creating an enabling environment for increased production and productivity of food crops, especially rice with the judicious utilization of farm machinery, land development and civil infrastructures. Prior to that, Dr. Kamara worked in various capacities with projects in the ministry of agriculture across the country including serving as a national facilitator for the Special Programme for Food Security (SPFS) supported by the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations.
